- Keola Wellness was founded in 2015 with a clear mission – to help integrate massage into urban lifestyles for health promotion.
- Massage is a safe, economical, underutilized & underrated modality that can help the body – mind connection, and reduce the build-up/ impact of lifestyle induced chronic diseases.
- It can be integrated from pre-natal/ infant, primary to geriatric healthcare as a health boosting/ preventive therapy .
WHAT WE DO
- Keola Wellness promotes integration of massage therapies into daily lives as a health promotion tool.
- We do so by creating awareness about the benefits, providing quality education & services, and advocating standardization, certification & regulation in the field of massage to ensure that therapists & providers have the mastery of core skills & knowledge, and adhere to code of ethics and best practices.
- Keola Wellness was founded by Jyoti Devjani, a professional with 25+ years of diverse experience in the health and wellness industry.
- She started her early career in the cosmeceutical & dermatological industry, promoting the benefits of baby massage and launching one of India’s most successful baby massage & post-natal massage oils & range of products.
- Her experience includes setting up one of India’s first day spas, launching Western Australia’s premier aromatherapy cosmetics company, consulting and managing hotel spas for some of the world leading hospitality chains including the Ritz Carlton & Oberoi group, in the US and India.
- In addition, Jyoti has worked with numerous spas and medical professionals to help them incorporate natural therapies & enhance their wellness offerings and realize their revenue goals.
- She continues to research the benefits of natural formulations and essential oils and promote the benefits of massage therapy.
- She is internationally trained and certified in a number of alternate therapy fields including massage therapy (in a multitude of modalities, including infant, pediatric, pre-natal), aroma therapy & spa & hotel spa management.
- With an MBA in marketing, and experience in the spa, hotel, pharmaceutical, cosmetics & retail industry, Jyoti has acquired a broad range of project planning & operational understanding; as well as business, marketing & technical skills.
- Jyoti is joined by her partners - Alpa Zaveri and Preeti Bakshi, who share an equal passion for the benefits of massage and alternative therapies, and bring a wealth of educational and corporate experience, necessary to successfully implement our programs.
- Alpa is a microbiologist and education consultant by experience, with a passion for early childhood development and education.
- She believes that attention to the holistic development of a child early in life, addressing their social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs, will build a solid foundation for lifelong well being. Besides good nutrition & health, consistent loving care and encouragement in the early years of life help children to be healthier, do better and participate more in society as they grow.
- Preeti is an engineer and MBA (Wales,UK) by education, a marketing professional with 15 years of experience in corporate marketing, communications & project management.
- She embraces her role as a new mom with as much energy and enthusiasm and finds the transition from being a career woman to a hands-on mom challenging yet deeply fulfilling. Coming from a family of doctors and nutritionists.
- She is a firm believer in an active, healthy, wholesome lifestyle. She travels extensively and always takes out time to immerse in local wellness experiences.
- Her mission is to help hotels, corporates and families along their journey of holistic well-being.
