Frequently Asked Questions About Postpartum Recovery

What is the PostpartumCheck assessment?
PostpartumCheck is a free online recovery screening that adapts to when you delivered. It covers physical healing, mood, nutrition, feeding and medical follow-up — and flags what may need attention.
Why does it ask when I delivered?
Recovery looks very different at 2 weeks vs 6 months. Questions adapt to your stage so you only answer what's relevant — early bleeding and wound healing for recent deliveries, pelvic floor and return-to-work for later stages.
Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. This is a screening tool to help you understand recovery markers and when to seek care. It does not replace a clinical evaluation. Seek urgent care for heavy bleeding, fever, severe headache, chest pain or thoughts of self-harm.
How long does it take?
About 8–12 minutes depending on your postpartum stage. You'll select your delivery timeframe first, then answer stage-relevant questions.
Will my data be saved?
Your responses are saved to your Newmi Care patient profile when you verify your mobile number via OTP. You can retake the assessment as your recovery progresses.
What does the report show?
Your overall recovery risk tier, score breakdown by domain (physical, emotional, nutrition, feeding, medical), personalised insights and an action plan with recommended next steps.
How can Newmi Care help after the assessment?
Newmi Care offers postpartum care plans with OB-GYN consultations, lactation support, postnatal yoga, nutrition guidance and mental health support — tailored to your recovery stage.
